ZHEEN Design was first inspired in 2012 by a University project however the inspiration was developed in 2013.
The designs show symbols and colors used in different Persian artistic handcrafts like Kurdish Klash pattern of Saljoogh Terracotta, Kilim, carpets, and Islamic architecture.
The primary goal of ZHEEN Design is to promote modern Persian art along with using the best traditional material such as leather chamois and stencils.
The word Zheen means life in Kurdish. Paria Vije, the designer of ZHEEN, was born in Tehran in 1991. She received her B.A in Industrial Designs from Tehran University of Arts.
